I’m sure most don’t need to hear this statement before visiting my website but I still feel it should be made just on principal. I don't in any way whatsoever condone, support, idolise or aim to glorify the atrocities of the Third Reich. My beliefs do not align with anything stated in the Nazi doctrine and this website constitutes a collection not a shrine. There will be references to genocide and other violent events throughout as this website serves to catalogue the history of Nazi Germany through their postal service. If you don’t wish to be exposed to legitimate Nazi propaganda of the time and the history of the regime then you shouldn’t proceed any further; however I thank you for reading this far.
The reason I collect and preserve Third Reich philately is because I believe there is no other period in history (that issued postage stamps) whose artifacts should be preserved and studied as thoroughly as the Third Reich. It documents the propaganda, nationalistic imagery, slogans and deception utilised by the party to attain power and to keep it indefinitely, of course only to culminate in the perpetration of some of the worst atrocities known to man. Preserving this history is essential as it offers an incomparable display of the fascist propaganda that passed through the hands and homes of virtually everyone in Germany throughout the Third Reich. A powerful means of disseminating anti-semitic rhetoric and propping up an image of Germany as a proud and powerful empire under Nazi rule.
In my case, and I wish this went for all collectors of Nazi philately, I don’t collect it to glorify the regime but to ensure in future that it never gets to hide from the public consciousness. With that said I hope you find this site interesting and potentially educational, thank you.
This website exists to display my personal collection of Third Reich postal history. It is broken up into various categories with my main focus being Nazi postkartes. It's worth mentioning at this juncture that I don't speak or read German so my translations will likely amount to approximations.
